Aradia:

Aradia (UrsaLynn) revels in the beauty and excitement of witchcraft. Aradia works extensively in energy work and changing consciousness at will. Raised in earth based spirituality, Aradia practices on her own, with her coven and with the larger pagan community. Aradia believes that all is sacred and through connecting with the earth and all the elements we honour who we are in the present, past and what is to come. An experiential witch who enjoys astral travel, trance, scrying, runes, playing with energy, connecting with past lives, connecting deep into the earth, dancing, chanting and being. Aradia always jumps in with both feet, open to be fully captivated by whatever comes!

Birch:

Birch is a queer witch who has been teaching/priesting in the Reclaiming tradition for ten years. He is a Reclaiming Initiate, has taught at Reclaiming witchcamps up and down the east coast, and other Reclaiming classes throughout the southeast and at his home in North Carolina. Currently, he is honing his skills as a mystic/shaman. He is willing to open the gates and courageously walk through them in order to explore the mystery in other realms. Through curiosity and compassion, Birch has discovered and is honoring the healing power these realms have in our human lives. In the past couple of years, he has been spinning and knitting magic. Most recently, he has been called by the magic of stones and crystals.

Cypress and Sylvan:

Cypress: Cypress is walking the path of the urban wild witch. Inspired by the tarot card, Temperance, she blends the cups of the urban and the wild to make an alchemy of magic in her own life and the world around her. She loves working magic and ritual through dance, stillness practice and trance. She is a naturalist and tracker and the sky and the earth are her cathedral. As a Feri practitioner within the Reclaiming tradition, the art of her magic is laced with Feri work within the container of the Reclaiming tradition. She is a devotee of Venus and Brighid. She weaves healing magic into her orthopedic and sports massage practice by day, and howls at the moon with her coyote-mix dog by night.

Sylvan: With his heart and his hands, eyes illuminating with light yet accustomed to the darkness, Sylvan weaves his art-filled life like a Faerie Spider. In the center of his web, a healing spell of Love; his body a bridge between the Human and the Spirit World (especially the Fey and the Ancestors). Sylvan, anchored by his daily recovery practices, now drinks deeply of ecstatic worship and quiet solitude, balancing the mundane and Mystery, embracing embodiment. Originally of the Welsh Tradition, he is a teacher of the Reclaiming Tradition and a Feri Initiate.

Isar:

Isar recognized she was a Witch in 1991 and attended every SpiralHeart Camp from 1994-2008. She has long-standing devotions to Kwan Yin and Ganesha, but in 2006 she was literally touched by Danu and given her magical name. Isar is a proud member of the SpiralHeart Crones and revels in the ripeness of this deeply fruitful era of her life.

Isar has always liked gardening, but as her Craft has progressed, this has evolved into more magical landscaping manifestations such as her labyrinth. Her North Carolina tribe of Reclaiming, the Dragon’s Cauldron, is currently building a large labyrinth garden for an inner-city community gardening organization. Isar has been a librarian for over 30 years and currently assists university students to navigate the ever-expanding information waters. She loves choral singing, dancing, absurdist humor, reading, and doing beadwork. Her cat Sadie graciously allows Isar to share their magical cottage amongst the central NC pines.

James:

James is an intuitive witch with over 10 years experience practicing magick. He is open to all forms of divinity however they present themselves. A lover of art and music he is learning to create without fear of reprisal and support his inner child as he explores the journey of creation without focusing on the "quality" of the final outcome. Always enjoying an opportunity to step outside the boundaries James believes that if it's not fun you should make it!

Jennifer:

Jennifer takes the “Craft” in witchcraft very seriously. Painting, drawing, small sculpture and jewelry making are all essential components of her spiritual practices. Dancing, specifically American Tribal Style belly dance, is just as important. Despite her formal training in fine arts, she considers herself a “born again” artist, lost for some time in the conceptual art world. She thanks the Feri gods for leading her to the deep spiritual connection of personal art making that she enjoys today.

Jennifer has been practicing Reclaiming style witchcraft since 1990 and in the past few years delved into the Feri roots of Reclaiming. She has found the combination of Reclaiming and Feri a beautiful structure in which to do magic. She is also a student of T. Thorn Coyle’s Morningstar Mystery School.

Litha:

Litha has been a witch in the Reclaiming tradition since 1992 and have been active as a camp participant (VWC, Wild Ginger, Michigan/Missouri, Winter Camp/Minnesota), community teacher and ritual leader, camp organizer (4 years at VWC; one of the founding priestesses at Wild Ginger), camp teacher (7 years at Wild Ginger; teacher of community path at VWC 2008 and 2009), mentor (Spiralheart 2008 and 2009) and Witch Camp Council representative (Avalon and Toronto). She has completed the initial Feri apprenticeship with Thorn Coyle, is now a student in the advanced class and, along with Selchie, SophiaHeath and Appletree, is assisting Thorn with the work of the current Morningstar apprenticeship class in London Ontario.

Marcos:

Marcos is an anarchist Witch who lives in Baltimore. He is one of the organizers of Baltimore Reclaiming and has been active with the Pagan Cluster. He’s also a member of an urban housing collective that’s dedicated to sustainable living, social justice, collective ownership, and artistic creation. Much of his magical work is located or has its origin in dream.

Phoenix Darrah:

Phoenix believes in walking the walk as an artist, gardener, and recycler. She is also a silk longjohn wearing hedonist, aromatherapist, and herbal practitioner who specializes in things that make you soft and fragrant. She has been a heathen all her life, and a Reclaiming witch since 1980. Phoenix has been co-creating group ritual since that time in West Virginia, and now is very pleased to be a part of Baltimore Reclaiming! She is a movement theatre artist and teacher, and is firmly convinced humor is her warrior’s weapon, and thus the hatch of her car is filled with masks and costumes. She is a Feri witch who integrates theatre and ritual and art into her daily life, because it’s just more fun that way.

Puddles:

Puddles is a stuffed duck living with Willie in the West Virginia woods. Stuffed in 2004, he was resting on a shelf in Rite-Aid when he met Willie in the spring of that year. Since then, he rests very comfortably on Willie’s pillow.

Puddles' craft work is deeply rooted in the magic of silence. He is skilled in deep witnessing, anchoring, holding ground and bringing back others who may have strayed a little too far away in trance. He has also generously served in the role of talking stick for affinity group work.

WillCastle:

WillCastle (you can call him Willie) is a Feri and Reclaiming witch living in the West Virginia woods. Initiated in 2003, he is proud to be a part of the growing Eastern Line of Feri. He is also proud to be a part of the SpiralHeart witchcamp community for the last fourteen years.

WillCastle’s craft work is deeply rooted in devotional magic. Through word, song, and story he hopes to help restore the ancient bond between Human and Fay. He carves wood, makes wine, and loves to sing songs of many, many verses. He is also known to have a strong dislike for words of more than two syllables (three syllables are alright when used sparingly.)

Willcastle’s magical adventures have never led him into Egyptian mythology before. He is looking forward to the journey.
