Summer Intensive WitchCamp 2011 Paths:

Elements of Magic-Ritual Building Blocks - Facilitated by Aerianna and Julia

Whether you are a beginner, or have been practicing magic for 30 years; planning a solitary spell or a public ritual for 500 people, the ritual building blocks (elements of magic) are the same.

This path explores the elements of earth, air, fire and water, and then uses the elemental energies in furthering our knowledge of magical techniques including: grounding, centering, dropped and open, purifying and cleansing, casting circle, calling the elements and invoking deity. This path will be hands-on and experiential using: trance, movement/stillness, voice/silence, play/rest and brainstorming, as well as other tools.

This path is not just for new practitioners; experienced magical practitioners will have opportunities to share their knowledge and techniques, as well as expand their knowledge. Additional afternoon instruction will be available to those who are interested in focusing on public priestessing and/or teaching elements of magic. There are no prerequisites for this class.

The Guardians - Facilitated by WillCastle, Sheila, and Puddles

“The Guardians” will be a week-long working of devotional magic offered to those who wish to begin, renew, or deepen a personal relationship with the Feri guardians. Using the tools of prayer, chant, and movement we will try to connect with each Guardian and seek from each insights as to their nature and our own nature as magical beings.

Other path possibilities:

Collective Paths

There may be a group of people who opt to create their own path work each morning, without specific facilitators leading. Some of you might paint, work with aspecting and deep witnessing, and some with the Tarot. Not a traditional path, this is a place for people who want to create their own camp experience. This will be a gathering of like-minded people supporting one another in personal and collective magic.

Self-Guided Paths

You may be called to do very focused solitary pathwork where you spend the mornings in deep meditation, silence, or a particular activity. Only you know if this is the path for you. If you do chose to work completely alone, please consider letting other people in the self-guided path know of your intention, in case you wish to process some of your pathwork with them at some point during the week (and, of course, if they are okay with this arrangement). For your own safety, please let someone know of your intention and location if you choose to be alone away from the center of camp.

If you have further questions about camp, feel free to e-mail us (info@spiralheart.org).
