Rites of Passage-
Facilitated by: Birch and Marcos

Lucius visits a part of Greece known for its witchcraft, Thessaly. His arrogance results in a magical mishap that changes him into an ass. The story recounts his trials and tribulations along his own journey to finding a reversal to the magic that went wrong. Finally, by following Isis’ instructions, he returns to his human form and becomes a devotee of Isis. The Golden Ass by Apuleius (a short version available by emailing Birch or Marcos), will assist us as we explore our own Rites of Passages.

Rites of Passage is a Reclaiming core class that teaches trance techniques, dream-work, and storytelling as transformative tools for our daily lives. We will focus on the basic skills of trance, including induction, tending, and group trance. We will learn how to trance into story and dream, and connect with the mysterious ones who guide us as we create our own Rite of Passage. This path offers us the opportunity to explore our own lives. We will view our stories from a new perspective and gain the wisdom and understanding to work through our challenges and emerge reborn by working with our own individual Rite of Passage that we bring to the path. To better prepare for this path keep a dream journal for the two weeks prior to camp. Please contact Birch prior to camp if you are intending to take this path and want some tips on capturing dreams.

Triple Soul and the Sacred Creative Process: Art and Drama - Facilitated by Phoenix Darrah and Jennifer

How do you access the Sacred in the creative process? Working with the Feri/Reclaiming model of the Triple Soul (Younger Self, Talking Self, Godself), we will explore the creative progression: where inspiration comes from, how we can play with it, and how we can manifest it. Using the tools at hand, we will create divine art for our personal Work.

Lost Treasure: The Search for Osiris - Facilitated by WillCastle, Isar, and Puddles

Much like the body of Osiris, the moments of our past are cut into segments and scattered or hidden throughout the landscape of our current life. This path will be a week-long working of devotional magic offered to those who wish to begin to recaim their past and to remember themselves. Using personal prayer, group chanting, walking meditation, and intentional movement , we will search for all the bright moments and dark moments that make up our own lost treasure waiting to be discovered.

Elements of Reclaiming Magic - Facilitated by Aradia, James, and Litha

This is the introductory core course of the Reclaiming tradition. Using intuitive models of dance, chanting, poetry, trance, sensing and raising energy, this path is for exploring the ways that the elements can inspire personal participation in the world as creative, magickal beings.
